I think that’s the 60k stadium design judging by the size of that entrance…..anyway I think the lights do penetrate the panelling as they as I don’t think it’s solid to block out the lights

It is the same bowl design that we have now, the front/back of the West Stand (depending how you look at it) is much larger as it contains a multi storey car park.

Alot of stadiums manage to maintain without loosing a few 100 seats...

However I get it as I'm guessing they're trying to kit it out for gigs etc

It allows emergency vehicular access, and on top of that trucks containing equipment for concerts and alike, tractors to sort the pitch and so on.

Most, if not all complete bowl stadiums have them. The Principality has one like ours, Wembley and Twickenham have one in each corner.

Concerts and the like need big tunnels like that to get all the equipment in. Pretty sure every modern stadium has them.

Don't worry pal, worst case we get relegated, lose all our best players (essentially Branthwaite and Pickford) and need to spend 15-20 years bouncing between the Championship and League One.
