The gaps between the exits concern me. The rows of seats look very long. If your seat’s in the middle, you’re going to annoy a lot of people if you need a wee.

Max of 28 seats to a row, nothing unusual about that. No worse than Goodison and no different to other modern stadiums.

I see that they're now casting the surround to the base of the columns on the South Stand.

They've done one, the custom formwork is in yellow on the end.

3 strikers in DLC, Beto and Chermiti vying for the centre forward role, when we had the lone, ineffective Maupay.
What's not to like.?
We have forward options for once.
Not as good an all round striker as DCL. Beto gives defenders a different set of problems with his pace and physicality.

Cant help be dissapointed with the 2 exits at the front of the south stand. Just ruins the look and the intimidating factor of fans right along the front.

That's to stop tits like me trying to climb up the columns after tonking the rs 5-0 in the first Derby.

There's no perfect solution, obviously. That said, I think the space from one row to the one in front (legroom) will be far more generous than what we have at GP when everyone has to stand up in turn when someone is heading down to the concourse so we end up doing an involuntary Mexican wave. I suspect you might be able to get to the vomitory without people having to stand up for you which will mean it is less of a nuisance and quicker. I might be very wrong of course.

I notice also that on the club supplied rendering on the right, there is no sign of the "Wind Baffles" that were to run along the length of the south stand.
I wonder if they have decided against them?

Designs are altered regularly within the construction world, I guess sometimes, you've just got to go with the winds of change.
