You'd think that by the 2023/24 season that safe standing will be in full use across the Premier League.

It all depends on whether the government will amend the law to allow it, and if they do how quickly it goes through parliament. I suspect it's not currently a priority.

Then, you have the whole local government and police authorising it, and I suspect because of Hillsborough there may be delays in implementing it within the city.

Rightly or wrongly, there will be some scepticism and maybe even overt criticism of the idea, so I suspect there'll be the idea of allowing others to trial it first.

We are hopeful that this project goes to the planning committee in the summer of 2020

So maybe a spade in the ground this time next year. If there is no planning issues and we have the money.

you should see the corners of a square appear, once you see them then tap the screen to make it appear there. It’ll stay stationary and you can walk around it, go closer in, see the inside etc all from your phone
