New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

If it were true it could only relate to a new stadium...somehow.
I think that with the ever increasing monies from tv that clubs are hardly suffering cash flow difficulties.
I expect that five years season ticket sales would generate about 50m and maybe the club will use that as a deposit on the new stadium.
Seems unlikely, but who knows ?

As far as I am aware we already have a very long term massive loan which is tied to seson ticket sales. so,basically, not a chance!

Season ticket revenues are already used as collateral for the £30 million loan taken out in 2003, repayable over 25 years.

i work at Travis Perkins and someone called Bill just enquired about 158 lengths of 3x2 timber, 35 shovels 14 hard hats and tape measure.......could be something in it>?

So who shall we compare ourselves with?Spurs,no thtas not fair they are a London club,Sunderland,Newcastle,no thats not fair
they are one city one club
Bolton,Middlesborough,Wigan,Coventry,Chester,Shrewbury who shall we compare ourselves with?
I think Villa would be the closest comparison.

What is quite scary is that the club seems to have no real will behind a ground. Look at most teams in the league and any club that needs a new stadium or have looked to expand have done. All except us, who keep failing in bids for one and they are always years apart.

The reason why we cant have stanley park i think is because there isnt a stadium to put there, otherwise we could have claimed the site. there is no other common sense reason why liverpool could have it and not us, unless we havent got a genuine reason to take the site up without being found out.

but not going too much into finances (wrong thread for that) , why isnt there anyone or anything happening to actually make an issue of anything? about everything, not just the ground issues, every man and his dog can see the club cannot go further without a stadium but 11 years of money seeping into the game and the fact we maintained a top 6 finish for most of that has left us high in loans and debts and no closer to anything.

Bar the obvious example of a shambles, what sort of top 6 club denies shareholders meetings simply on the basis of them asking questions of the board?!
