No. The "good dispersal rate" takes into account the fact that it is easy to walk away from the ground. Thats part of the stat.

At alot of grounds (including new grounds such as Southampton) there are bottle necks just trying to walk out of the stadium (eg foot bridges, subways etc)

I concur,3 o'clock kick off and I'm back in Formby for 5:30 from GP,does my head in going to away grounds and being sat in traffic still at the ground about an hour after the end of the game.

So that's one direction taken care of -- what about all the others that are currently easily accessible from GP? And by the way there's currently no official parking site anywhere near WHL. Easily solved? Build a big one on WHL? If that's the solution then expect a 30 minute delay getting out of it and on your way home.

Turn right out of WHP then left up Queens Drive access most of South and East of Liverpool and motorways!

The only thing it hasn't got is a train station (yet), and as the park is on a useable line who is to say this cannot be opened in the future?

What do I know though? The proof will only come when it's built and we're either moaning about how long it takes us to get home or we're back on GOT 25 minutes after the final whistle complaining about how slow and old Ledson has become since he turned 40 but Stubbs won't drop him.

Why use more greenland for car parking when the potential for public transport is there. Buses already use all directions from the park including walking through the park to use Rice Lane, I have already mentioned that the rail line is useable.

We are creating problems that are already there at GP yet we don't mind them???

......unless we are situated at the end of a motorway. I was thinking Edge Lane as it has great rail and road links as well as loads of room for parking etc. saying all that, I think Walton Hall Park is the only option being seriously considered at the moment.

Precisely. And I'm not sure where this existing parking is in the WHP area that RB refers to. For off street parking of any size I can only think of the small industrial estate opposite the taxi club. On-street parking will be restricted to residents if ever the ground got the go ahead.

I am not going to list parking places as I will struggle getting a place to park for GP, and that is my whole point, they are five minutes walk apart and therefore no parking problem.

I certainly have never had a parking problem going to GP and only had a car for the passed, well to many years to quote. We cannot be greedy here, if we are lucky enough to pinch a bit of the park for a new stadium lets not tarmac over the lot for parking.

For those few who have been lucky enough to have had a trip to wembley do you think they have adequate parking? And they house more.

Once again, I think we are looking for problems that are either not there or have always been there and we have learned to live with them and should carry on if it is for the sake of a new stadium (that will probably never happen anyway)!!!!!!!
