Always found it baffling you couldn't transfer a cup ticket.

Across the season, more than 3,600 seats were listed on matchday itself, by which point many supporters have already made alternative plans.

They've made this point to encourage people to list tickets earlier, but ultimately, last minute things will always happen and the forced paid membership/digital ticket hurdle really causes the problem. I'd given tickets to people I didn't know at Goodison rather than it go to waste, you can't do that now. Until the club drop paid membership, per season, per person/ticket - and until it's easier to give your ticket to someone, we're going to see empty seats.
