Real fun and games with the Chelsea fans was in the November of 1978,pitched street battles from Goodison to Lime St station,we used to walk from Goodison to town and got caught up in it.Liverpool Echo displayed some of the weapons used and confiscated. The worst football violence i have ever personally witnessedWas a few Chelsea there as well, fun and games by the Abbey after.
Mick Lyons was diving in Chelsea's penalty area every time he was in it. It was funny but it eventually worked...never a pen mind but he must have got into the refs head with all his diving.
