New Everton Stadium Discussion

Yes. Any word getting back to management that they're unhappy and they're on dodgy ground.

BTW, 2 died in Liverpool just over a year ago on a LOR site in Liverpool.

Same as any job really that though isn’t it?

Sad about that young lad, has it been confirmed it was LOR at fault?

They were on their site. That's LOR's responsibility to keep it secure and safe.

No it's the same as any job. The accident and fatality rates on building sites is way higher than most other places of employment....that's why independent trade union H&S guidelines need enforcing. ...not some LOR flunky giving the go ahead to any work old environment that allows the company to cut corners.

Yes we all know accidents happen on construction sites, the risk is higher working above ground with heavy materials and machinery, and any accident is terrible for all concerned. Your belief that LOR deliberately allow corner cutting is just laughable.

The stats say they do. Their record on safety is horrendous.

Why are people supporting a money grubbing union-busting organisation here over both the men and women who are building this stadium and the union that seeks to protect them more rigorously than LOR ever would?

I cant believe that scousers need persuading so much to see it the right way. The club have leverage and can change this practice in a heart beat. They MUST do that.

Now the concrete steps are on you really can see the scale of it.

That South stand... Guaranteed everyone will be going on about it when we open the doors

No-one one really goes on about the huge stand behind the goal at spurs... That's because despite having huge numbers, they don't have anything near the energy we have. Tens of thousands, but collectively a bit mediocre.

I don't think the street end gets enough recognition nationally compared to being in the stand. Maybe the way it's built with the overhanging bit, but the seething, boiling pit of anger within would be amplified ten -fold in a stand like that

Said this a few time, Spurs with its curvature gives it a friendly look. Also it's akin to that stadium Marsille have.

They should encourage all the singers and people who make an effort to get in that end, they probably naturally will gravitate to that anyway

I’m boring so will sit side on
