Wonder what vision they are pitching to these investors to get them on board.
Be nice to know their plans beyond making Everton successful.
I would assume they have financial plans that are showing an upside to get these people on board, while they would of course be private, the methods to get the returns should be able to be shared.

…I think a lot of top sportsmen have a dark side to them. Sadly, it’s the mentality that often helps them become who they are.

While I agree to some degree, the manifestation of that dark side can differ a lot. Some people are so driven that they do not have an ounce of fun and enjoyment in their lives, others like Jason Kidd break their wives' ribs and smash their wives' head on the car dashboard. The latter to me is not acceptable.
