Avoiding legal action for the sake of Europe would make sense from a business pov. If I remember right they missed an early deadline last year to sort this out.I just don't see why self sabotage would be in their best interest

To not have to potentially lose even more in future. Why would they want less money?
The earth is also flat I'm assumingWhy does the conspiracy side of my brain say that , they simply didnt want any of the multi ownership beef with two teams in Europe.
In that sense a quick chat with moyes to " ease " off and get the " happily dissatisfied " stuff ready to post would be easier right ?
It would cost a lot more to fight and sort out the multi club issues than say 20 million lost in revenue.
Im not claiming its real or fact mate im just providing an obscure opinion on a forum full of opinions. The earth is also flat I'm assuming
Hate to be the guy, but this is just utter nonsense. It wouldn't be in their best interest to do this in any way shape or form.
It's also a roundabout way of excluding the manager for his horrendous form and tactics which he had been doing for months anyway.
Getting into Europe would have valued both the club, and the players more highly and put us in a stronger position financially and in terms of player trading.
The conspiracy theory is just not reality.
Pretty sure we werent going to be in the CL but fair pointWhy does the conspiracy side of my brain say that , they simply didnt want any of the multi ownership beef with two teams in Europe.

I see what you're saying but I simply can't see it and I can't see Moyes going along with it eitherAvoiding legal action for the sake of Europe would make sense from a business pov. If I remember right they missed an early deadline last year to sort this out.
As a general observation …. There is some absolute tosh posted in this thread … I mean TOSH
Nothing wrong with suggesting a different angle on things Phil even if you get a few negative responsesIm not claiming its real or fact mate im just providing an obscure opinion on a forum full of opinions.
Read the moyes thread you'll see my thoughts on him. Im also glad youve thought so much about my post though at least I never wasted my time .
Weirder things have happened to what I suggested , maybe I shouldn't have said the word conspiracy it can invoke the worst in people at times.
Overall my pov is a sceptic on the current owners, ill look at all angles to figure that out.
