Can’t wait to be 9th in 5 years time.
Well in the 6 years TFG have been at Roma. They’ve steadily gone from 7th to 3rd in those six seasons, oh and won a trophy. Going off that, we’d be in 9th off 6 years of ownership. Obviously can’t say the same is gonna happen at Everton but as owners, the team seems to make steady progress. Why is an unknown future scenario being deemed as sad? Unless you can see into the future.
The table doesn’t lie. How about this for a target next year. Let’s have a GD above 0. Baby steps. This is progress, the Everton way. Ignorance is bliss.

The culture Inside the club is everything's going fine.
We've made good progress, safe from relegation by Jan, in with a chance of Europe right until final game.
And it's in absolutely no one's interests inside the club to challenge that and say it hasn't been a good season.
There's no one asking 'why did so many fans leave if it's been a good season?', 'how did Sunderland come from behind us with 2 games to go to get into Europe?'
We've got absentee owners who put some car salesman in charge. As long as the ground sells out and we stay in PL, that's enough.
The only way that changes is if the fans turn and last week's empty ground is the first sign they've seen of 'fans frustration'.
They can ignore places like this, they can get the Echo and the clubs Comms team to churn out fluff pieces, but they won't have expected that.
