Moyes will build a solid premier league team. Not too defensive, not all out attack. A balanced solid team.

Martinez was far removed from Moyes but was able to come on and instantly get work with what was available. Adding key players sure.
If he can build a platform as decent as the one he handed Martinez, we should all be delighted with that.

I think the real test comes when we have to pick his replacement.

We ballsed that up in ever more ludicrous fashion last time - to the point where everything was so badly screwed up that the only solution was to bring him back again.

I found this table quite interesting, hopefully TFG can turn our fortunes round in this respect. If we should ever win a trophy I don`t think it will be Moyes that delivers it...

Yeah but you should be able to voice concerns if you think he’s going down the wrong path. After all it’s your club and you’re responsible for making sure those you hire have the same vision. The truth is though we don’t even know this yet, it’s all based on rumours.
The managerial oversight should be provided by the DoF .
Owners generally don’t possess the football knowledge to dictate anything but the broadest strategical direction.
It seems at this point that Moyes is being given a free rein to direct the direction of the club in the near and medium term.
I find that slightly disappointing, others though will agree with that position.
We won’t be able to judge its efficacy until we see were it leads us over a few seasons .
