What actually worries me about the new structure is once Moyes leaves or is sacked who selects his successor? Owners again? Some agency with no skin in the game? Will we continue the "lets pick a manager who is as far away tactically as possible from the previous one" method employed so far?
Moyes will build a solid premier league team. Not too defensive, not all out attack. A balanced solid team.

Martinez was far removed from Moyes but was able to come on and instantly get work with what was available. Adding key players sure.

Martinez's team fell apart after a year when defenders forgot how to defend. So things can fall apart quickly.

I remember Manuel Pellegrini commenting when he won the League at City, in his first season that he attributed part of that reason dur to Mancini. Mentioning it takes a year to put coach a managers tactics, and i genuinely just see thst with with the first year of Martinez..

Strengths of Martinez, Strengths of Moyes and once he'd out coached it, we were just a shambles.

We weren't a shambles were we?

His last season here and we had 2 cup SFs and finished 11th.

If you're the owners you tell the manager that re-signing a disaster sends out all the wrong signals.

You command your CEO to tell Moyes to GTF if he thinks he can waste money on a player like him who's proven for years he's nowhere near good enough.
The same with any thoughts on Doucoure, Harrison, Broja or signing Richarlison for £30 million. It shows nobody has a clue and it’s deeply disturbing, might as well reward Coleman with a new 5-yr contract if we do this kind of stuff.

It will happen. Doucoure and DCL will be re-signed IMO.

lies if your owner you tell the manager what you expect from and his decisions

if it’s upto him

Can’t wait to see their burning ambition this summer….

I'm not expecting to be blown away after they went and brought Moyes back.

Now talk of giving DCL a new contract.

It's not exactly the jump into the bright blue future we hoped for, or at least that I did.

They better give us some cash for the summer, they don't really get any good will from Bramley Moore.

Or maybe they should just show an interest in this club.

It's the weirdest situation I've known at Everton in ownership takeovers.

December 2024 to May 2025, as it will be tomorrow. No sign of them. Roma gets scores of visits from Friedkin and his family. Us = none...and there's a new stadium to see.

At the very least it's odd.
Mate they have shown an interest…they have paid off an awful lot of debt, have instigated a big back room change (we now have an actual board). Plus
Why? because of some rumours?

might be best to wait until July until they can actually spend some we are going to get linked to every west ham player, every striker, full back 100 plus till window closes. TFG seem to just announce things…with no

They will on vastly inferior wages. Doucoure likely a year contract. Can’t replace everyone

Yeah but you should be able to voice concerns if you think he’s going down the wrong path. After all it’s your club and you’re responsible for making sure those you hire have the same vision. The truth is though we don’t even know this yet, it’s all based on rumours.
