Grow your brand, back your manager and hope that when the next big team come knocking, we're free of the Sigurdsson's et al, and we've got a reason for a manager to want to continue the project.

Pochettino who has won a French cup in his whole career and managed to come second in a one horse race? I really don't get why he is so highly rated. He is alright.

The point is though, he is widely sought after.
Though he actually hasn’t achieved a lot, so I do agree with you on that definitely.

The thought of a Graham Potter type manager is growing more and more on me.

Im done with these ‘experienced managers’ now, its only been utter failure after such high expectation. We need to take ourselves down a peg or two. Get a manager in who can grow with the Club ala David Moyes of 2002.

I think Potter has taken Brighton as far as he can IMO, the next step is an Everton. Got a bigger budget, access to better players & increased expectation. But he’s shown he can implement a style & identity at a Club. He can also defend which someone like Martinez & Howe are clueless at. All aboard the Potter train lads. Just lashed a £5 on him at 12s on SKYBET as well.

I must say that potter has an impressive cv...did not know about what he did in Sweden until recently.

I think if Mosh allows Brands to do his job then he will approach Gallardo.

He’s everything we need as a manager.

Big risk though mate - thats the worry there are a lot of good managers in Europe/rest of world likes of Ten Hag and Favre but I dont know if they have what it takes in terms of English football.

Thats why for me I would prefer a manager with PL experience. If we couldnt get one of the big bhoys like Conte/Poch/Biesla then for me whilst underwhelming Nuno wouldn't be the worst choice in the world as took Wolves to 2x 7th place finishes and 2x cup semi finals in 3 seasons and you could argue taking Jimenez/Jota/Doherty out the team has done him over this season but I dont think he would be successful at the club in terms of aiming for trophies.

The problem I've got is I dont think many managers could win a trophy at Everton the rot is far deeper than just the manager and players for me - there has to be changes at the top of the club trickling down before we become a serious outfit imo.

Managers should be lining up in droves for the opportunity to manage us. Nowhere else can you finish consistently 12th or be sacked and yet still expect to land a top, top job afterwards

I'm yet to be convinced by Marcel Brands but surely this is his time to pick the manager. Silva and Carlo very much Moshiri's choices so maybe it's time to let Brands try and build what he was brought to the club to do.

If Bielsa can make that Leeds team finish in the top half of this league, then the fella can only be the best manager for us.

Make no mistake, he's not leaving Leeds and if he does, he's going back to Argentina (widely accepted across Leeds fans), but if he can turn Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, Jack Harrison, Liam Cooper into good Premier League players, then imagine what he could do with people like Davies?

I'd love Simeone, Conte, whatever... but how are they doing what Carlo couldn't, and making Gomes, Sigurdsson, Iwobi into decent players?
