If we get Silva back wondering if we might get a free year out of him.. how many years did he have left on his old contract when he left.. win win..

im absolutely fed up of having to start again every 18 months. its why im warming (and only warming to, hes still not the ideal candidate) to moyes coming back. he'd give us 3 or 4 years of stability, getting us hard to beat and bringing back the spirit of old. plus he'd have no time for wasters like delph and the like. conte and poch etc would just end in tears again one way or the other

But who would you like to see replace Carlo Ancelotti at Everton? Let us know in the comments section below.

Antonio Conte is 9/1 following his exit from Italian Champions Inter Milan, and Everton Academy graduate Wayne Rooney is also the same price with Oddschecker.

Former Blues boss David Moyes is also priced at 9/1, with Marcello Gallardo and Ralf Rangnick both at 14/1, and Christophe Galtier and Gareth Southgate both at 16/1.

Poch was fully down to rebuild Spurs once he realized that they needed it. It was the players and Levy who decided they didn't need it. Poch was right. But he won't be coming here I don't think.

It's all bitter sweet this. Its like being dumped by your fit missus. First, your disillusioned. Then, comes excitement. Few nights out on the lash and you wake up next to some hippocrocapigodog. Might meet another a few nights later. Eventually you get your woman. Fine, exhilarating, gets the fires in your belly stoked. Oh wait, this is Everton.......we'll marry the first hippocrocapigodog we come across, and his name will be Moyes.....

Don’t want Rooney anywhere near this club again please.

Anybody want Zidane as manager

Yes - the job he did there (twice) was pretty much on a shoestring, there was none of this style-of-play nonsense and he went out to win games. If there is a chance of getting him then he would be in my top three, though we'd have to basically say in exchange for a certain amount of time in commitment you have the final say over everything, and support him properly.
