I dont think he has any interest in a full time managers job anywhere. He walked away from football for ever when he retired, came back to town to be inducted in the Hall of Fame, then needed a job a few years later.

I have no idea how good, or bad, he is as a coach, but DCL always says nice things. (No surprise there really). Him and Carlo seemed to get on as well. Well, got on. Its all a bit nepotistic, but if he is actually good, not that bothered if I am honest.
