Just for once, I would love us to "trade up" on a managerial appointment, and get someone who hits the ground running, wins something with us quickly then we can build from there.

Chelsea have done it for years - bullet the manager then get someone in who wins them a trophy within 6 months.

We go from one buffoon/blagger/liar/fraud to the next, and seem to regress every time.

I know we are starting from different baselines, with the squads, but FFS footy god's please just let it happen at Everton, by Christ we must be due.
