Not at all keen on Barry being there next season, see little evidence of these leadership skills, on the pitch he's a hindrance
If they are bringing him on as a coach I'm all for it. Not a bad player to bring on when you're winning to slow the game down and take control

Hmmmmmmmm

Holgate is a no-brainer

Baines - I'd only be happy with this if we also sign another left back so that he isn't an automatic first choice after this season. As good as he has been, at 32 he isn't going to be able to get up and down as much as he used to.

Barry - Same as Baines really. I appreciate what he brings to the team and he isn't losing his pace as he never had any, but we need to ensure he isn't an automatic first choice. We need more mobility in midfield and he should only be a part of the squad from January onwards (assuming Schneiderlin arrives)

"Baines??"

Good news. Even if we sign 11 superstars in the summer, every Premier League squad needs quality experienced players too add balance.

As long as it is the likes of Baines and Barry rather than Kone and Gibson.

Holgate goes without saying. Promising young players signed up long term.
Couldn't agree more Tezzy.

On the pitch its not been his best year - but he is not alone there by any stretch. Leadership however goes much further and deeper than 90 minutes a week on the pitch!
