I thought he was more having a go at Pienaar to be honest.

If you see the whole article, i think he makes an awfull lot of good points about the club and certainly a reflection of what seems to be the mentality in the changeing room at the moment, worrying stuff and said to see our captain coming out and saying we're "punching above our weight" sadly hes probably right.

I think it depends on how you want to interpret his words. I'd say he would like to have heard what Tottenham had to offer - footballing-wise and wages. He didn't get that opportunity, but it doesn't bother him at all - he loves playing for Everton, the manager loves him, etc. I respect his honesty.
