This makes me fume, you don't just sell world class players in their prime in case they lose resale value. Money(to bail bills debts out) is obviously more important to you than building a strong team capable of challenging for trophies, makes no sense at all from a fans view.

instead why not do what we did last summer and sell of the deadwood in the squad, between heitinga and anichebe (even though he has improved this season) we could probably get around £7-8 mil for the pair, bring in Lescott on loan with option to buy, and gameiro with the cash made and whatever cash moyes apparantly has in jan put it towards Sissokho as his contract runs out in the summer so even a few million should be accepted rather than risk him ****ing off for nothing a few months later.

heitinga could go for around £4-5 mil - player of the year last year, dutch international, prime of his career and anichebe has improved this year and could probably fetch around £3 mil from the likes of wigan or reading for him

like I said replace anichebe with someone like remy or gameiro for around £7 mil, get lescott to replace heitinga on loan then in the summer opt to buy at a cut price with the new tv revenue, and moyes has said he has a small budget available for jan proiding he could still use that offer whatever he can to try bring moussa sissocko in as his contract runs out in the summer and has said he wants to leave so I can see the club willing to accept even a small fee for him rather than risk him leaving for nought a few months later.
