At least £70m for Lukaku. And 50p for Aiden is a bit steep.

You got there before meAt least £70m for Lukaku. And 50p for Aiden is a bit steep.
With rumors that geri is going and that cleverley has gone with the potential to shift niasse aswell it looks like we will end up with a negative net spend from the january transfer window.

Isn't Geri going for €12M?
You forgot to add Barkley to the list (he's nearer the exit door than Lukaku, still no hint of signing a contract) shall we say 45m ?The Clev 8m

Maybe i was talking in general and regarding the way the squad has been reshaped without really using any of the moshiri money to date o ce these players leave and so we should still have the war chest for next summer. Also, won't their exits count agains the summer window and not January?
We're paying them that.At least £70m for Lukaku. And 50p for Aiden is a bit steep.

Absolutely mate. It's a a pretty frivolous and perhaps irrelevant discussion until players have been bought as only then can their success be truly judged.
As @mkrudden mentioned, in all reality a net spend 'can' be a good thing, although not always, if the situation still allows for an improved squad.
Look at all the money wasted by clubs like Liverpool over the years on players who haven't really improved their squad; money for monies sake.
Although obviously if there is a negative net spend and the squad has not been adequately improved then rightfully people will ask questions.
While I do not want Lukaku to go, if he and other players do leave then we should have a fairly large pot to reinvest in a number of players.
