Regarding 1, could you expand on it please sir.

Like I make up the playing career backstory of myself in the game in my head depending on the experience level I set it as. And also for some reason I make up a personal life for the character in the game.

I don't even know why I do it.

I suppose it helps build it for you mate. what's your background for yourself in the game?

I can only really get into a game when I do that so I guess it is alright. Plus it passes the time when I'm bored.

The one I have in my head at the moment is:

- Everton youth player
- Loaned out to random teams in Europe
- Play loads for Everton
- Get sold to Dortmund
- Play in Spain
- Retire early because my knee exploded

I'm a bit of a train-spotter. Not a proper one as I'm not especially interested in trains or engineering, but train lines, closed lines / stations and the heritage of rail I find v exciting.
Every friday at 10.13am there is a train from Stockport to Stalybridge one way - the only service on the line. It's called a 'parliamentary service' - closing a rail line requires, or used to require, an act of parliament and was a regulatory headache for the train company. They find it cheaper just to run a skeleton service so the line is officially open, but closed for all intents and purposes.
Last year I took the morning off work and got this service with my 4 yo son :). An interesting 20 min train ride. The station buffet at Stalybridge is also worth a visit - listed building and normally has a few real ales on.

I used to do train stuff when I was very little, used to collect tickets - when i say little i mean younger than 10 - still got all the old tickets though

do love a good train

Do a lot that's been mentioned in here.

Take Football Manager far too seriously, To the point of actually wearing a suit on Cup Final Day. Judge Me. Got 480 hours into FM12 and nearly 100 in FM13.
Laugh at all the Bang Bang Theory jokes about Science and Comics, Also can recite the theme song whenever. Boss.

Who hasn't done that though?

I actually thought that doing that was just a joke off a random facebook group everyone "liked" a few years ago. Didn't think people actually did it. I doff my cap to your professionalism though. I've defo celebrated last minute winners too aggressively, like.

My favourite FM stat: "Football Manager, also known as Championship Manager or simply ‘Champ Man’ to habitual users, has been blamed for wrecking countless relationships – it’s been cited in 35 divorce cases."

Amazing.
