2 games, —5 goal difference, when if ever do you think we will get a positive goal difference this season?

Negative goal difference nearly cost us last year.

I'd be satisfied if we finished the season on a goal difference between -15 and -5 given how poorly we've performed so far, but it's too soon to be considering the possible impact of goal difference on our season.

Are we heading down then?

We've had negative goal difference for the last few years so it doesn't mean we are going down.

Just stands to reason if we play 38 and optimistically say we win 10, draw 10, lose 18 likely we would have a negative goal difference as we would have needed to win those games 2-0 to make up for all the losses even if they were just 1-0. Under Dyche bar from Brighton all of our wins have been by one goal and we have beaten by at least three on four occasions and by two goals again another four times on top.

I really couldn’t care less

Two 1-0 wins going into the boring international break and not a soul will be complaining about goal difference with our 6 points and mid table position

Beat Wolves 10-0 and lose to Sheffield United 1-0 and plenty will be fuming with our 3 points and low league table position
