Not arguing that Onuoha isn't good but think Clyne would be a better investment. Hate to use the term re-sale value but....

Micah Richards ? He's 25 years old....ánd never a regular + sunderland fans didnt like him either.

SHould be going for U21s.

He was getting games until the Arab revolution, and filled in for an injured Richards with no problem. Played centre half for them too.

What do Sunderland fans know? They've had Titus Bramble and Wes Brown as key defenders.

Hes just came into to Citeh at the wrong time, which is why hes not a regular.

Hes a little injury prone though. But can be a top player with guidence

I agree about Clyne having the most potential unfortunately I don't think we'd be in the running for Clyne, plus Onuoha is more versatile which is another thing Moyes would love about him.

Anyway I don't see why we are even looking at defenders for now we can survive until Jags and Distin are back, I mean surely if we have any money its got to be better to look at bringing in a striker, a creative mid and/or a left winger? SURELY?

Onouha is a centre half and right back - two areas we need younger players for the squad.

And in our position if he's available at 2-3m and we have it we cant afford not to try, as decent players being available cheap when we are in a position to buy them isnt going to happen very often!

I've seen Clyne play 90 minutes twice. Both times I thought he looked like he was playing at least a division above his level, much to the consternation of the Palace fans around me.

Onuoah for me.

we need strikers not defenders Shane Duffy will be cover for jag's johnny H and distin
i think in two seasons time Duffy will be a top class CB better than Onouha hope we don't sell
him off like we did with Richard Dunne who went on to be a top class defender and still is.

If someone has correctly deciphered Sean Wright-Phillips' attempts at English on Twitter, then it would appear Ned has joined QPR.

Signed for QPR on a 4 and a half year deal...... :-(

Im pretending to be disappointed as truthfully this was never realistic.
