Ashley Barnes is a 6'1" lump. Him and Wood was like when we had Campbell and Ferguson up front.

That's mad that, I genuinely had in my mind that he was about 1cm taller than that little ferret Shaqiri who played for the rs.

If he’d been used as a second forward playing off Dom, cleaning up the headers Dom wins, doing tricky stuff on the floor, and being a pest around the box, ie a budget Richarlison, he could have done well.

But Dom was out and we didn’t change our style to reflect that Maupay wasn’t going to win aerial duels with CBs.

Then he missed a few sitters, his confidence died and the atmosphere around him got toxic.
