and if Beto breaks, then what? We can't rely on custard body DCL... we have seen the last season we need more than one first team striker, it doesnt work. Esp one that isn't yet used to the premier league.

Well if Beto got injured we’d be knackered regardless of if we kept Maupay or not. If we get multiple injuries in any one position we’d be knackered regardless, you can’t have a squad of 40 players. Maupay is actual deadwood, he was never an option.

Danjuma. Chermiti. I have no problem loaning out our 5th choice striker. It should’ve been a straight sale to be honest.

I seriously doubt Dobbin gets 25 in a mid-table Championship side. Stop being ridiculous. Of course Maupay is better than Dobbin.

Oh and Maupay would have been the solution in thar scenario?

I joke of course and ideally we'd have another decent striking option, but Ideally we would also have a couple of new fullbacks, a centre back and bolster the midfield,....
