He was clearly a complete panic buy.

There is no way we went into the window planning to replace Richarlison with Maupay. We were a complete shambles and unprepared for selling Richarlison, then we panicked when time was running out.

People think Brands was bad but we replaced Brazil’s star striker with Dwight McNeil and Neal Maupay. That should earn a prison sentence tbh.

And we were all told to pipe down in the summer when we questioned the strategy!

Turns out that when something seems to make no logical sense, its probably because it isn't very smart.

I think I gave our summer business a 3 out of 10 at the time. I think I gave it 2 marks too many now.

Agree mate that he's gash and looks like he's running in treacle, I was making the point that for some reason we continued to hoof balls up to him with those grocks at the back for Wolves even though they didn't even have too jump to beat him in the air.
