The Pats and Islanders sometimes supply the joy in being a sports fan.

Went to an Islanders game when I visited the states a few weeks ago. Got to say I absolutely loved it. Barclays is an amazing venue, the YESYESYES chants cracked me up and Martin roughing everyone up was exactly what I'd hoped to see.
At least there's some positivity in NY/BK at the moment. I don't think Hornacek will be enough to save the Knicks from the lottery next year, though.

I'm trying my best to get my mates to agree to go to New York so I can get to a game, I'd love to do that.

Matty Marts is great because he's like that player in Footy who just boots everyone but scores once or twice and you can't help but be happy.

I like Hornacek but the Knicks are just a mess, even after a positive start with Porzingis(sp) Don't think he's that good and they need to do something with Melo. Do you blow it up and get rid or keep him and hope your strike lucky on a Guard in the draft/free agency.

Mike Conley is mentioned but can't see him going to the Knicks.

I haven't yet seen them at the Barclays (live in the DC area now), but Rangers-Islanders games at the Coliseum were just electric (with brawls all over the place, the old 1940 chant). One of the best rivalries in American sport. In general, hockey is great to see live. To be honest, I never took to the Knicks. With Oakley and Mason, they were like an NFL team

Nothing worth keeping there except Porzinigis. A few nice complementary players but none of them are indispensable, should trade Anthony now while he still has a bit of value left. Think they have traded away all their picks too.

Conley would be a great move but it would be a hard sell to get him to come.

Do it mate, its incredible. Went to Knicks vs Nets at the Garden too, which is pricey for even average seats, but its surreal when you're there. Was my first Ice Hockey game too, and hopefully not my last.

I like Portzingis. Better than Dirk was at this stage of his career and he's got the same potential imo. Just hope he doesnt get destroyed by the NY media hype.

I see the Spurs for a good fit for Conley. They're looking to get younger in the backcourt, so why not?

Knicks at MSG though, a good game to watch?

That is where I can see him going actually, perfect for them
