Lebron James is opting out of his contract and will become a free agent.

Cleveland wept...again.

?????????????????????

Where is he going this time? Or is he opting out to restructure his contract?

If he's actually leaving Cleveland again, he'll soon be so despised that he will move from "best player of all-time" legacy to barely cracking top-10 lists.

I guess I should read more than just headlines FFS.

He is opting out of his $21.6 mil player option next year and will become a free agent, but is expected to stay with the Cavs.

Apparently they are confident Love will sign too. And Tristan Thompson is a free agent they want to keep who will get paid.

So I reckon he's actually looking to potentially take a pay cut to try to bring a championship to Cleveland.

Oh, that makes more sense. Not that I really care one way or another, but I'd rather not see LeBron keep making silly choices.

Yeah man...I generally like the guy. He's lived up to the hype like very few do...the overdog story if you will.

Cleveland winning something would be great for Northern Ohio.

That said, I much prefer the Steph Curry underdog story.

Kawhi Leonard is my new affair. He ticks all the boxes for me. Well, him and Popovich both. (My boxes are really quite simple, and these do well for me.)

With you...I'm a fan of his as well. Steph does WOW with limited athletic ability...scores from everywhere against bigger and stronger players for fun.

I'm a big fan of your boy, but Steph for me for about two years now has been next level wow for an incredibly average athlete in a sport that is meant for athletes. The anti Jordan/James. Steve Nash at his peak but better.

It's quite an understatement to say that Curry is great. I've not watched him before these playoffs. I have a thing for defense-first players (not that Curry is bad at defense) in two-way sports.

DeAndre Jordan going to the Mavs, WTF? Don't think he will be as good there when his offensive game relied on catching lobs from CP3 and Blake.

DeAndre Jordan might be backtracking on his agreement with the Mavs and might actually return to the Clippers, with Doc apparently saying that they will give him an increased role in the offence. I personally think he should stay with the clippers as CP3/Blake/Lance/Pierce and the rest of the Clippers roster are a lot better than Dirk/Matthews/Parsons and the rest of their roster (most likely including Lin), especially with Matthews coming back from a serious injury.

Feel for the Mavs, maybe they could use similar tactics to the Clippers and try and get Tyson Chandler back.
