Don`t talk rubbish as if the brain drain wasn`t a thing in the real world.**45,000 health care workers were just looking for a better life but were cruelly deported back to the UK for a life of 3rd world wages.
***Not all of them were health care workers, some were engineers and scientists who lost their jobs after Brexit
They started selling the NHS off in the 80`s, maybe sooner. How many £Billions has the UK taxpayer put into it since then? Suckered.
I agree. However the last 12 years of decline have been presided over by the Tories. There's plenty of blame to spread around but we can't let these weasels in charge wriggle off the hook.Archaic management inefficiencies
An aging population
A population with increasingly unhealthy lifestyles
An increased ratio of female to male medschool entrants who will favour part time working compared to males
Doctors retiring early, as being a high earner is so unrewarding in the tax system, it's not worth the stress of modern clinical medicine
I imagine to suggest anything other than Tory cuts being to blame for NHS pressures on here will have me cast as some kind of goose stepping skinhead, but money is not the answer to any of those problems.
Erm... What?Last year about 45,000 doctors and nurses* crossed the English Channel so how can there be a crisis in the NHS! - don`t listen to the fear-mongers they`re just winding us up.

I genuinely can't work out what point you're trying to make.Don`t talk rubbish as if the brain drain wasn`t a thing in the real world.
I`ve got family who have travelled to all parts of the world (mostly Europe) since we `left` the EU so i`ll go with my first hand experience thank you!
Stop moaning about income, we could have a high wage economy like Germany but we`ve got a low-wage one thanks to Tories/Labour and it`ll never change due to their policies regarding supply/demand of labour ie. immigration, why else do you think those "returning health workers*" are on a subsistence wage?
*I don`t think hoards of Brits were repatriated.

1/ never mind1/I genuinely can't work out what point you're trying to make.
2/But I do know you mean "hordes" rather than "hoards".
Doe Germany has higher levels of migration than the U.K.? Bit of a weird argument.Don`t talk rubbish as if the brain drain wasn`t a thing in the real world.

Maybe you can explain. It might help rather than you trying to derail another thread.1/ never mind
