I don’t think Moyes would allow it, and certainly wouldn’t then play him if he was overweight.

He lacked a lot of match fitness and match sharpness. And he was up against a very accomplished player in Hudson Odoi before they then stuck an absolute speed merchant up against him.

He did fine, nothing special, nothing awful, just fine, even if he did get beat a few times.

He did as well as expected considering his lack of match fitness and sharpness. Certainly doesn't deserve the stick he gets from the usual suspects even if going forward he's probably not of the standard we need to progress

He isn’t the answer. And unfortunately for him and us; we weren’t able to sort the deals for him to move on in the summer.

Was a relatively cheap (in modern football standards) punt on a young player that unfortunately hasn’t worked out. And that’s ok.

Spot on. I personally think if he joined a club that uses wing backs he'd look much more assured then he does at full back

Doesn't look overweight to me but yes his fitness does look like it needs working on which isn't surprising when you've been continually injured

He's nowhere near match fit not surprising as he's hardly played for ages due to injury. Hasn't really worked out for him which is a shame as he was highly rated before we signed him. Injuries haven't helped, nor has the amount of managers we've had since he signed, we definitely need a new right back here in my opinion, while we're at it a new left back too.
