….’hate’ is a very strong word, not sure I’ve seen anybody with that amount of dislike for the lad. Just because you don’t rate him as footballer doesn’t have to mean you dislike him.

…that’s very sad, more of a reflection on them than him.

I really don’t rate him but I think it was the Bournemouth/Doucoure game where there was a picture of him at the final whistle and my word he was genuinely delighted. Always stuck with me that pic.

Here's hoping he plays a decent amount at the World Cup regardless of our plans for him this summer.

Would be an ideal opportunity to put in some decent performances to potentially sell him, because he's clearly not going to get many minutes here.

It's sad to see the usual suspects trying to drag this thread into the gutter. Now isn't the time to gloat about posters who are sadly no longer with us, nor a time to settle scores or reopen old forum wounds. It's a time to unite behind one of our players who's about to embark on an experience that's the pinnacle of most footballers careers. Proudly representing his country, his family and also our beloved club on the greatest stage of all.

Maybe it's time to put the grudges to one side and help send only positive vibes from this thread to our intrepid traveller.

Definitely not the answer to our problems, we looked more balanced when he did play a couple of games and OBrien looked better for being a centre back but we really really need some fullbacks in this summer. Treated disgracefully by Dyche off the field too, assaulting your own players is proper Brexit stuff.
