Hope he gets to play for Scotland an does well. If Moyes is staying as looks likely, the lad needs to get a move sorted, as do a few of his younger Everton squad mates.

His treatment by Moyes, after decent performances and results when he’s played for Everton, has been shocking and inept.

….its obviously more difficult with smaller nations, but I remember most top English teams had a spine of Scottish players. Not so long ago, Hanson, Souness & Dalglish playing for RS. Amazing how few caps the likes of Hansen and Graeme Sharp got, can only imagine those players being available now

That`s my fear about how he will continue to use JOB too.

I think he has a good chance of playing. It all depends on the fitness of Hickey and his own. Ralston is rubbish and third choice. If Hickey isn't fit enough then Patto will play.

Its not a transfer rumour Dave it's data. Objectively true whatever you think about those 3 players or whoever Ian Croll is.

If it helps just ignore the Patterson part and look at the differences with Garner at right back and JOB at centre back.

Here's what my data says: he's a dud.

Wasted time here. I wonder why both Dyche and Moyes doesn't rate him. Will be moving on in the summer no doubt but I still feel he would have given us more in time than O' Brien has.

That we are unbeaten with Patterson starting in the league?

His starts this season are:

Forest 0 - 2 Everton
Villa 0 - 1 Everton
Everton 1 - 1 Leeds

3 starts, 2 clean sheets, 1 draw.

The game before Forest was a draw with Burnley, the game after we got battered by Brentford, followed by a draw with Wolves.

We then beat Villa with Patterson playing 90 minutes.
