For this friendly game because it's at the Bramley Moore stadium I would imagine.
He can use his experience of showing the fellow substitutes how to navigate to the bench.

The dud today.
“I feel really good. I’ve come came back and I’ve played a few games for Everton.
“I think the main thing is just to be confident and go express yourself. The main thing is just impress but just do it the way you do it.
“I know what I’m capable of and I know what I bring to the team.”

Come on David, what should he have said?I watched his interview on Scottish BBC news last night and I must say if I were the RBs who'd played all through the WC qualifiers - Ralston and Hickey - when Patterson was not even playing in them, I'd be seriously pissed off at Patterson saying he was determined to get into the WC squad.
Steve Clarke cant be thinking of doing that. I wouldn't be surprised if Patterson was left out of there first Scotland friendly this week and then started the one at our stadium as a matter of courtesy.
The lad's got some brass neck on him, that's for sure.

I dont think saying he's determined to get in the squad and take the place of someone who's got Scotland to the World Cup finals is a very humble move. Needs to show some humility for someone as obvioulsy limited as he is.
If I was in that Scotland squad and got turfed out for him to go the U.S. I'd be furious.

Mad how much hatred someone can have for a person they've never actually met in the flesh.
To loathe them to such an extent is actually really unnerving.
“I’ve been called up but I have no intention of trying to impress and stake my claim. Just here for the craic tbh pal”
Is that how he should answer?
No, I told you what he should have said in relation to making it to the World Cup: NOTHING.
So he gets asked a question in an interview and you want him to... say nothing? Say no comment?
