I was in favour of substituting him at half-time, along with a few others. Yet he stayed on for a bit longer in the second half, despite offering very little at left-back (granted, he was out of position).

One thing that could've been done at half-time would have involved moving him to his natural position of right-back whilst pushing Branthwaite out to left-back and moving O'Brien into central defence. He is certainly a player who is playing for his future, as he has not demonstrated enough to justify keeping him and including him in our plans going forward.
