….you clearly have an agenda against Young but the reason he plays ahead of Patterson is because the Manager thinks he’s a more effective footballer. It’s probably more about who’s ‘least worst’ rather than who’s best but I agree with that assessment.

Why does it have to be an 'agenda' to simply want to see the better players on the pitch?

Just to say "The manager thinks" doesnt articulate why the player performing (statistically and according to the majority) well or poorly seems not to be important to the manager for selection.

It's not a lie. I said all in. If anything possibly an underestimate. And before you say a huge 5 Yr salary package isn't relevant I'd disagree in context of the free agent market and our financial circumstances. Financially speaking he's been a disaster so far.

With regards stats you were shown an independent statistical analysis of how Patterson was the worst player on the pitch for Scotland this week. Against a minnow and in the midst of an injury crisis.

I did write stats and the majority of posters...not 'everyone'.

Not seeing any reason why a guy gets 2 stupid reds and his replacement performs better than him yet he comes straight back.

Its mad.

….‘lie’ is such a strong word. You’ve pulled me up on transfer fees (Beto & Chermiti), i know i didn’t ‘lie’, i posted what i thought the fee‘s were but it’s something that doesn’t truly matter unless it’s significantly incorrect. Your attention to detail is terrific, it’s good when you put the record straight.
 
I see the Saudi rumours are going round again, hopefully just lazy links coz of the Steven Gerrard connection. It'd be a terrible move for him at this stage of his career imo, it'd almost be throwing the towel in.

Zat mate, don’t bother getting into it with posters like CS. We all know what he is so just stick him on ignore and he can comment to himself in an echo chamber

There's a lot of things he can be critiqued for but sending Everton over the top of spending isn't one of them.
