As I've said I loved the likes of Davie Weir and Richard Gough to name but two former Rangers players. My issue with Patterson has nothing to do with his former club - he's an over hyped player that came on a huge package that the club patently could not afford.

He’s a young progressive modern attacking fullback, signed for a fair price, who needs games to develop and grow into the finished article, supported by his manager, coaches and supporters.
He doesn’t need to be stuck behind a poor, over the hill 38 yo failed winger playing at rb, who has already let the team down this season, and not playing, learning or growing.
