I don’t actually think Mykolenko is our biggest problem but no denying he’s poor on the ball. Yes it would be better if we had better attackers and then maybe his frailties wouldn’t come into it and as you say could just defend and do a job but moving forward I think we need better than that
Dyche is the manager so im going from that.
If we had 4 defenders who were ONLY focused on defence & 2 DM/CM whose goal was to stop and not 'play' then it all relies on the wide and forward players.
That and the dreadful football is ok...if we WIN.
I believe we need better attackers...i dont blame Dyche for that.
Are they? Young players who need development should be exactly the kind of players we should be aiming for. It’s the overpriced retirement home players we keep buying on big wages that got us into this mess.
That said there is no point in buying them if you are going to hire a manager in Dyche who couldn’t develop a photo, as we see it’s a waste of both theirs and our time.
If we sold the keeper and defenders and signed all u21s then Dyche would be IDEAL to develop them.
Attacking wise...not so much...that weve seen!
