That's all anybody wants for the lad. The people who you see as haters on this thread are the very people suggesting options for Patterson to kick start his career at a level more suited to him rather than playing third fiddle to a couple of OAPs.
Clever way to twist the narrative there. Almost could be construed as gaslighting.

And I’m done from this thread and the 3 of you who are all on ignore now. The 3 of you need to have a look at yourselves.

He’ll be playing for Scotland next week and will be going to the EURO’s. He will be a top full back regardless of what you, or Dyche or anyone else thinks.

I hope he gets into the team, gets some minutes under his belt, gets a decent loan or move and goes on to prove every manager he's had wrong and that they were all mistaken when they didn't trust him. Good luck to him.

You obviously don’t wish him good luck when you are continually overly critical of him. Can’t even be honest about that can you

I think we need to address the fact that Dyche wants experience at the back and with Branthwaite, he just feels having both of these plus Mykolenko who is only 24.

I think we have space in our squad for him especially in right back/wing back and right midfield.

He needs to take every opportunity and minutes as a positive.

His time will come, have faith

Similar to Mykolenko and going further back Baines (our best prem player ever). A bit of development required for a young kid.

Will he get any minutes for Scotland?

Absolutely. We can't afford to waste this £20m investment.

He needs to start getting full games under his belt at this rate be 32 by the time he’s a top full back that’s no use to us.
