I was hoping it would say he would miss 6 hours of Monday or at worst 6 days as he's having a long sleep in.

Could be 6 games if we're lucky. Either way it's alot better news than some were predicting

Ha i said 4-6 weeks, if it is 4 weeks, it is already then just 3 weeks and by time a everton game another 5 days so really just 2 weeks if the more positive prognosis so wouldn't miss many games at all and youngsters tend to heal quicker so just have to wait an see.

One of those odd situations where you think “ Phew, I’ll take six weeks.” , or maybe I’ve been reading too many posts on this thread. When you read how much work Townsend is having to do to get back , strengthen muscles etc at least he won’t have that degree of rehab.

I hope it is that positive,but really depends on lots of unknown factors.

I even got up to listened to that talkSport garbage because Townsend was on this morning. How's his recovery and training going? Any news on Patterson? Not a word on either, should have stayed in bed.
