The rs have sponsors for there lounges/corporate boxes dont they? Possibly a few more quid if we do something similar

This is exactly what Im thinking for the sake of 3/4 years calling it the USM Goodison Park and the ability to add another £30m into the coffers per year. Its a must but lets face it nobody would call it USM Goodison Park would they (apart from the media that is).

I could live with the media calling it goodison park Megafon stadium for a shed load of cash.

Well Goodison is actually our second stadium and BMD will be our third.

it's essentially free money with no impact on the Club. The ground will always be Goodison, no matter what Skysportnews etc refer to it as....

When it comes to BMD however, the ground will always be known as whoever the first sponsor is, a bigger decision.

end of the day money talks and if we want to compete at the top end we need more money that we can spend via FFP

Even if we got 20 million for the next few years it would help but goodison would have to be left in the name.. USM Goodison park or Microsoft Goodison park.

Think people are over estimating what we could actually bring in through the sponsorship, spurs are still looking for about £25m p/s sponsorship for there brand new ground, articles online place us as missing out on around £3m p/s by not having a stadium sponsor, with Usmanov backing we would probably have that bumped upto £7-10m
