Naismith? Thoughts?

Inzaghi was pretty good at scoring from 6 yards. He wasn't so bad. Naismith isn't awful, he's a good utility player at worst.

Have you actually just compared Steven Naismith with Fillipo Inzaghi?

No i was merely saying having a player capable of doing that and the temperment to do it in big games isnt a bad thing. I wouldntsay hes a first teamer, but if, say Fellaini isnt bringing the ball down and it requires something different, moving Felli back and bringing on Naismith isnt the worst option. He can also fill positions around the park if an injury crisis starts.

Eh, even simone was a consistent goalscorer at the highest level (he scored 4 against marseille the year Lazio won the double).
