Why do we have to sell him when he's a very capable squad player?
My mistake mate, sorry.Because every player in the squad has to be world class. The idea that a team and a squad has to have a blend of different players with different attributes is just plain old fashioned. Shame on you for not keeping with the FM / FIFA / Any Other Acronym age lad.
Squad player in a mid table team at best that can come on when needed. No place in any squad in a Top 5 team for me.I think the penny has finally dropped.
He is simply not good enough to start games here at Everton. He was forced in to the starting 11 to reward him for his efforts. He is NOT and never will be a number 10. I've said it before, he has nothing in his locker that that position requires.
He's a last 10 minutes player
no mate, as so many on here have proven, the most successful squads are filled with below par footballers who try very very hard, eat all their greens and always do what they are told, tremendous pros and great servants (being paid extremely well). While our talented players must be treated with mistrust, we must assume that they will sell us out in an instant, and we have to lie about how hard they workI pray for the time when we have a team/squad with no weak-links, mediocrities, limited players. Hard words but Naismith is all of those things.
For years I wondered what DM saw in Hibbert, Simon Davies, and above all Neville.
One weak-link in team, and the Top Four is a dream.
If RM can keep our best players and get a couple of top players this summer, we have a great chance next season.
