When one states that a player is one of the team's best, then that player assumes certain responsibility for the team's League performance.Yeah because he is the sole reason why we are near the bottom and everyone else has been great....

I agree, he should have been rotated more! Naismith and Barkley should have been rotating rather than putting them both in the team with one out of position, it's been a huge problem and one of Martinez' biggest failings this season!

He's one of our hardest working players, which is entirely different. Not one of our better players though.
Naismith has a 1 in 5 ratio for us and what's this abuse that Cahill got? He's well loved here. All attributes that we need, yes the ability to run and perform tricks are great, but McGeady just aint all that despite being a quality 'footballer'.
Naismith is usually involved in everything positive we do, he gives the ball away as much as others yeah, but its a ball he won trying to drive forwards instead of sideways when we lose it.
Some people just pick a target and refuse to see any positives.. Look how great Osman has suddenly become, despite actually playing no better or worse than normal. People are just starting to see both sides of his play.
Cahill got the same abuse but he was key to our good league positions.
We lose Naismith, we lose one of our main driving forces, most of us don't seem to want to go forwards and be the one who loses the ball, he wants to put it in the back of the net or set up someone to do it, and if he should lose it along the way, he will break sweat to go and get it back.
I'm sorry you see that as a negative or the full extents of his ability.. It really isn't. the guy scores a lot of goals, 1 in 3 for us and as a career average, run likes a swine, does some cracking passes, and tackles, and is a long way from just a headless chicken when he does the donkey work.
I'll be honest, page I checked didn't include subs so yeah just under 1 in 5... (although a lot of those extras were 82nd minute cameos)... hell of a lot better than most our midfield, or... well anyone in our midfield, in fact most of our team.Naismith has a 1 in 5 ratio for us and what's this abuse that Cahill got? He's well loved here.
Malaga Interested in Steven Naismith
Reported in the Daily Mail, so take it with a grain of salt. But a rumor none-the-less.
Don't you think scoring goals is a good attribute ?His biggest problem is him believing that Naismith can play that number 10 role. Its had us all scratching our heads all season long.
He hasn't got one single attribute that the position requires. Its baffling.
Good impact player.3 games since Naismith has been dropping from the starting XI
3 wins
