Absolute condolences to you and your family @Lob, losing a parent is the absolute worst feeling in the world, it’ll be my dad’s anniversary in 2 months and it’s something I’ll probably never get over, seeing him look a shell of himself wired up in an oxygen mask because the sepsis from his chemo stent was slowly shutting him down, he ended up going peacefully the morning after with my mum by his side
Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
Hello mate, sign of the job your mum done that you can hold it to write with such selfless compassion on such a day.
I hope you note how you’re surrounded by love over these coming time ahead. Be kind to yourself, it’s a pain many of us sadly remember too well, condolences.
Sincere condolences to you and yours. You were clearly a good son and very close to your Mum. In the devastating loss you feel, the only comfort is that she is no longer suffering and has earned her rest.
Treasure your memories...they will get you through later on. Loss never leaves us.. I know only too well. But what time does is that it gives us the ability to deal with it. That will come for you.
