I have always hated
players like Paul Robinson (WBA etc.) Cattermole, Lucas Neill and their likes. It's nice winning, and even nicer winning fairly.

Realistically though, you can't send off players everytime they commit a bookable offence in the middle of the park because you've deemed it deliberate, it would ruin the game for the fans who have spent a fortune to watch 11 v 10 week after week.

Thanks for the facetious reply. I have always liked footballers like Hoddle & Beardsley and my postman, and have always hated

You're very welcome.
A football match is made up from many things from pure footballing genius to physical contact. It is the mixture that makes it exciting, it is the overcoming of the tactics employed by the opposition that makes it interesting.
I would suggest that a game played between two teams of Hoddle's would be infinitely boring.
While I deplored the Leeds team of Don Reavie and I am not advocating constant fouling to stiffle talent I do like a player who can put in a tackle. I hold Peter Reid in great esteem.

Besic is made of glass. His body can't handle a slightly bobbly pitch, never mind physical contact with Roy Keane.
Lucky that Jonny Heitenga isnt still here, one sly shoulder barge in training and Besic's shoulder would be out. He could prove how 'hard' he is then by putting it back Lethal Weapon style

Looses his head too often, must have the best ratio of yellow cards/minutes played

I'm really sad about it, and please don't shoot the messenger, but I've heard from a very good source that he's being moved on as soon as someone comes in for him

Pros: Shouts at Williams.

Cons: Not very good.

Sell Besic, McCarthy, Jagielka, Lennon, Barkley, Niasse, Robles (total 70 million)
Buy a centre back and a striker and a wide player

An utter liability, and a tad crap.....

He looked out of sync with the rest of the team and wasn't a great performance but I think he has a role to play this season. I am also not that worried about the yellow cards because he won't play enough for an accumulation to be an issue. With Barry gone I would sell McCarthy to Newcastle for 20-25 and with that buy Dedonker. Midfield sorted.

gone well off him with his new haircut tbh

he's doing a Miley cyrus; alienating his core fanbase to be edgy
