Not sure Besic put a foot wrong did he? Bite in the tackle, great passing and even a nice pop at a winner, best performance I have seen from him, and if he can produce a full 90 minutes of that, he'd be one of the first on my teamsheet every week!

Well, for this season i would have them together but i personally think we need a really top CM signed up.

What we need are clean sheets and much more energy when not in posession to get the ball back and stsart passing again...rubs off on the whole team like yesterday when the two in the middle play at a high tempo.

ive always said besic reminds me of gattuso and someone else made th same comparison, in fact these two could be like parkinson and horne for us but a higher level...allowing the wide players to have more space as well as we should dominate the CM with two guys like this.

Next season i would like to see a deep playmaker brought in and then we can change tactics a bit rather than having that oaf barry clattering people all game then huffing and puffing after 60mins when he needs his inhaler (just kidding).

barry is too slow in this team i think, playing well but doesnt add to the team other than as an individual...id rather see two players with high energy high tempo in there.

His best performance so far (for me), I am reliably informed that they have big plans for Besic but he has really struggled to settle in and that has stunted his progress. I hope he gets a run and starts to enjoy life here because I think the lad has a lot of potential.

It was a great controlled shot but unfortunately the keeper was positioned very well and made IMO a standard save (considering his positioning). Now if it was to the left of the keeper then a goal all day.

Had a point to prove and did himself absolutely no harm at all today. With YaYa between us and the Capital Cup I'd say he should start on Weds doing a man-for-man job on him.

Much prefer a man marking job on Silva. Besic looked so composed yesterday and looked a different player. A midfield 3 with Cleverley Barry Besic wouldn't go a miss on Wednesday.
