He played in midweek as did Cleverley and Baines....none of which played today.

Honestly i think some like to knock him for no reason...he's been injured and when available has been played.

No, he won't. He loves being at Everton, don't You get it from his interviews? And also he gained respect from his teammates, just think about Coleman's last interview after the EC qualifier. He worked for it very hard. He loves being part of this team and despite sometimes I don't get some of Martinez's decisions I see he builds as very young and very strong team. He'll be part of that for sure.

It's a tough loyalty is modern football, we've been through the mire with losing our very favourites over the years, lads we believed would stay with us 'til the end of their careers. Young Wayne was the last straw...a player can tell us he loves us as much as he likes, but if he isn't performing or if money dictates a move elsewhere it's búcsú from him and búcsú from us.

I think the reality is somewhere between these two posts. He does seem to get us and be happy here and that is a big thing in any job, but there will be a point where that isnt enough if you arent playing, or if the big bucks are on offer elsewhere a player will be off. If he can see the big picture that this team shows promise and Barry doesnt have many seasons left in him then he'll stay, if not he'll sod off. I like him though,

I like Besic, like, not love like a weird majority of Everton fans seem to do, I reckon he could make a very good midfielder for us in the future.

Realistically, and yes this is extremely American but, if you do a depth chart, centre midfield currently shows that we have McCarthy, Barry, Barkley, Gibson, Cleverley and Osman with Mirallas, Naismith, deulofeu and Kone waiting in wings, we have a lot of competition and i genuinely believe he'd be of more benefit being on loan at someone like Bournemouth who play good football, where he could play every single week, as opposed to waiting for Barry to retire.
