Personally I thought he'll play bad from the beginning but the first half was quite the opposite. Best 45 mins I saw from him. Then the whole team went down and it effected him as well and also he look a bit tired around the 60th mins. But the main thing is I don't understand why does everyone compares him to somebody else (especially Naismith who is an attacking player)? It's bold to do that to any player in the world because they're all individuals with unique play and movements on the pitch. I never understood that because that's the main reason why someone loves a player and another one doesn't.

His first 45minutes was plain and simply a masterclass in how to midfield in the 2014 era EPL.

He tired in the 2nd half due to having to chase every single shadow that horrible kopite grass Osman was leaving all over the place.

Agree. Which is terrible really. This kid should getting help from all over the park. But it's him doing the helping at the minute.

He has everything in his locker to become the best DM at the club, he has vision, slight of foot and a first touch that no other player in his position can rival.

Can not understand for the life of me why any Evertonian would slate him, he's growing into the league with every game, remember, this is his first season of english football, he has the attributes to be a master of it.

Doesn't help that Ross is struggling for form after his injury either, no outlet further up.

But then if you say Barry is a 'safe' player, you must be able to see he isn't, loses the ball in possession a lot, has no pace, free kicks n yellow cards edge of box. besic has got an engine at least but he still is class n can put in a decent tackle. Will be solid by end of season

I have to say that despite a few wee mistakes, I actually like the look of Besic a lot.
I think we have got a gem in the making in this lad.
