Gibson won't make it under RM ive said it a few times, looked okay in the 4-5-1 under moyes but the 4-2-3-1 under martinez needs your CDM's to be pacy with stamina to cover the pitch (mccarthy) or excellent readers and defensive positioning ability (barry) for me gibson has neither

ACL is a very tough injury to get back from especially with his past history. It will take Gibson 6 months before he's anywhere close to where he was and unfortunately we don't have the time to wait.

I would sell him in January and give his minutes to Ledson. A team struggling would be interested in his experience and would be good time to get a decent price.

Disagree with those writing off Gibson. Think he's a very good squad player to have. In fact, if he wasn't so injury prone, i'd say he'd have a chance of being a regular in the first 11. It's good that we've got 4 very good centre midfielders as well as others who can play there like Barkley and Osman if they're needed.
